LESSON ONE: Open G Tuning

Simple chords, playing down the neck, fingerpicking hints, barred chords, playing up the neck, open G tuning scales. Solos in the styles of Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson and Fred McDowell.

LESSON TWO: Open D and E Tuning

Using the same approach as Lesson One, the concentration is now focused on Open D and Open E tunings. Solos in the style of Tampa Red, Elmore James and Duane Allman.

LESSON THREE: Standard Tuning

Playing in the styles of Robert Nighthawk, George Harrison and Ron Wood. Scales and positions.
