The late John McGann was the first ever Associate Professor of Mandolin at Boston’s Berklee College of Music. He was a National Mandolin Champion and a recording artist for Green Linnet Records, Narada, Rounder Records, Flying Fish, East Side Digital and others. He has composed, arranged, produced and recorded with many of the leading lights of contemporary bluegrass, Celtic and jazz.
