Here’s the truth about nutrition for football athletes:

It doesn’t have to be that complicated. And you don’t need a college degree or fancy certification to give your athletes healthy nutritional information they can quickly understand and easily apply. I know why ‘simple’ and ‘straightforward’ works because this approach has worked for our football players (and football players of every level from youth to the pros). I’m sure you get asked some sort of nutrition question everyday from parents and your players. You already know that training and nutrition go hand-and-hand and when used together they lead to exponentially greater results than just training alone. Practice and workouts alone just don’t work as well. Proper nutrition is crucial to improved health and performance. I know I am not telling you anything new but I have to bring it up because most coaches just do not share any nutrition information with their athletes they coach.
